Legal Stuff

eBikes with an assist cut out speed of 32km/h with under 500 watts of power and with no throttle control (yeah that means you need to pedal to get assist), and power  assist quits when you stop pedaling, qualify as “power assisted bicycles" under Federal Government classification.

If you have pedal assist beyond 32km/hr and/or throttle control you may not be legal!

Simply put, you have to pedal!  The power-packs give you pedal assist when you need it, and offer longer duration of the riding experience.

We have provided below information regarding cycling in our neck of the woods.  Please respect and follow local laws.  Ride Safe!
